Today is my daughter's birthday! 3 yrs old liaoz! She seemed so 'adult' to me :)
Only bought gifts for her school friends and bought a cake to my in-laws place. Of cos, without fail, she will have the usual 鸡蛋面线。And I will only know how to complain to my frens that Zyon don't have. Of cos, I don't dare to say this in front of my in laws. Only my husband dare to says it without hesitation. What's the use? Also like that...
Sunday we brought the kids out. In advance celebration for her too. Went to the museum!!! We went to the S'pore History museum! Hahaha...surprised right? They've got the Hello Kitty Collectibles exhibition there. Rachel was soooo happy n excited! After that, walked ard Clarke Quay. The kids were so happy to see the river and the boats! hahaha. Didn't take the river cruise though. A bit dark. However, we had dinner by the riverside. This made the kids happy too! As they can see the pple getting on and off the boats, counting the boats...
Really missed the times where I can blog slowly and casually. Got so many things in my mind which i want to blog. But... is 24 hrs enough? Wait not enough sleep, next day wake up late, reach office late, "xxx" will give comments again.
Had cold war with hubby jus now. Of cos i knew that tomr we'll be fine. I WILL definitely make it to be fine. If not, I cant work! Hahaha.... Love and r/ship. They are jus too "chim". It is a never-ending learning process. Just finished a book which brother recommended me "Tuesdays with Morrie". It was actually a 'so-so' book initially. But it is when something happen along, then you'll realised the quotes in the book! They are part n parcel in your life!
One of the values quoted in the book is on marriage. To make sure that u survive the marriage, the couple must "have the same belief in the importance of their marriage" & "Love each other or perish". "The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love, and to let it come in." Simple words with in depth meanings. Think abt these words and the meanings. How does it relates to me? *slience*
Actually hubby is on early shift today. Wen to work at 3 am in the morning. Afternoon went to "catch" fishes. Just now after dinner was extremely tired and jus refused to talk. We were sending Zyon to the CC for his class.
I was furious! I simply dislike pple to just keep quiet if I'm talking to that! Scolded him! That if he is so tired, why shld he go and 'catch fishes'?! Next time when he is on early shift, need not fetch zyon and us! Dislike his attitude! For the past few days, his eyes were glued to the TV set. I think it has been a while since his eyes were glued to me for so long! Just jealous of the TV!!! But of cos, thinking back, I was the one who insisted that Zyon shld attend the class at the CC. Hubby can refused to send us there. Despite him being so tired, he still send us there and fetch us back. Why shld I flare up to him?! *sign* ... *tears in my eyes* ... Find that whenever i faced stress n anger in the office, i will bring it home. Characteristics of a typical Gemini? I also dunno. I know i shldn't. I will Change. I have to change. From the previous peaks, i know that i will be ok after a few wks. But... this shldn't be the way at all!
Tomr morning I will definitely have a nice talk to him. Apologise for my temper and at the same time, to let him know that I don't like his eyes to be glued to the TV. Cos he won't help to take care of the kids when he watches TV programs. Prefer him to go home n sleep in the afternooon then catching fishes.
*Phew!*... Long blog. Genuine thoughts and feelings.
Recently there have been a serious flood of dengue fever. One of my colleague's dad got it too. Hope everything will go well for her dad. Let us all do whatever we can to prevent dengue from spreading! Just few hrs ago, the RC members came knocking on our doors to teach and remind us on all the preventive measures! Gd job! Prevention is better than cure!

Something different!

Yesterday went clubbing. Hahaha… ‘clubbing’, a place and a word that has not been associated with me for at least 4-5 yrs.
Went with 2 of my goodie frens, one of them “brought” almost 20 other frens along. Well… sort of dampen my mood initially. It was such a rare chance for us to go clubbing together. Actually during my clubbing days, these 2 frens aren’t really my clubbing khakis. Only went with them a few times. Hmmm… Maybe shld organize a ‘gathering’ of all my clubbing khakis! Hahaha… It must be real fun! Anyway, despite everything, we went. Of cos, the place we choose is more towards retro music! Even though it is not as popular as it used to be, but, it is still our all time favourite! BUT…it played quite a number of niceee retro songs quite early. We danced from abt 10 plus till abt 1am. Left at 1.30am cos the songs are not as nice… Needless to say, I can’t hold my liquor as well as I used to be. Last time, hahaha 想当年… Well, as I say, take it positively, at least I only need to spend little $ to be ‘high’. Hahaha…
Today, as I promised, I went to perm/highlight and did treatment for my hair. $170!!! *sign*…
If you ask me whether it is nice, well… ok lah….wait till Monday see what my colleagues say. heehee...

Cousins gathering

Yesterday had an "annual" cousins gathering. Even though usually we'll see each other at least once a month, but we also make it a point to have our 'annual' gathering. Without our parents, of cos.
Before the gathering, we've exchange > 30 emails on where to go. Really long-winded. Until we finally decided at Raffles City coffee club. Why? No reasons. Just because we don't want to think and exchange emailssss again. heehee...
After wks of waiting, the day arrived. Made 101% plan. Knock off at 5pm, will meet hubby and we'll go and fetch zyon together. 630pm to arrive at Raffles City. More than enough time! But... but... '工作‘不做美. Last minute got work cropped up. Its like... its like... We have been quite "lobo" for the past few weeksss (months). All of the sudden.... we became busy again?!?! And the timing is jus not right! So angry... And somemore, hubby couldn't leave office early. End up, I left office at 6.30pm. Took MRT there myself. Hubby went to fetch zyon. CTE massive jam!!! The 3 of us reached abt 7pm. We were the last to arrive.
There were some mix up abt "decaf latte" and normal latte. And the waitress even came and questioned us! So angry. And my cousin's bf almost swallowed a plastic 'hidden' in his salmon sandwich?! It was really not our day...
So hungry and thought could order something delicious. End up, my sandwich came, but the top bread was black! It was burnt! And it was not hot? funny right?
My cousins offered to ask the mgr and came. Was a bit worried initially. End up, the mgr apologised and gave us 25% discount. Of cos, my "black" sandwich's order was cosidered void.
Initally we intend to stay there and chit chat, have some desserts. But, needless to say, we left immediately after the 'edible' food was finished.
Wanted to go some cafe for desserts, but, we got 9 persons. No place for us! We ended up in Burger king. hahaha...Even at BK, my cousin order Happy meals, we jus share everything. But...when she came back with the food, the staff never give her the Kids' meals toys! Even thoguh we dun really care abt the toys, but, its like... even burger king wants to 'bully' us? hahaha.....Really not our day :(

LaZy...

It has been quite sometime since i last blog...
Lazy? No internet connection in office is the biggest problem.
Getting used to it? Not really. Trying my best to. Last thurs went to watch the grand Finals of the superstar at Indoor Stadium!
No voting was done by me. Heehee... "Both K's got contract already. No need to vote" Thats my reason for not voting :P
Kelvin won. Of cos I'm happy. But still alright. Mayb cos I really went with a 'neutral' heart. JJ 's performance was great!!! Enjoyed and screamed myself thru'out. Even though the audience ard me was rather quiet. But Jo & I screamed like crazy. Haha...Blowed whistle, waved the 荧光棒.
My dear gd fren Sharon has just given birth to a baby boy Ervin or Erwin? Cant rem. heehee...
