SAHM

SAHM - Stay-At-Home-Mum

For the past 2 wks, I've been a SAHM. I think I do prefer to be an employee???
Hahaha... At home, it is not as free as you thought it would be as there are never-ending house chores! You've got to think -
1. what to cook for lunch
2. when to prepare for lunch
3. whether the quantity of ingredients are under or over estimated?
4. when to wash clothes? Whether it will be raining or a bright and sunny day? Whether the quantity is enough so as not to waste water and electricity?
5. whether to clean the windows? Depends on the weather?
6. when to mop the floors? Are the floors dirty enough to be mopped so that water is not wasted?
7. when to iron the clothes? Are there enough clothes to iron so that the electricity used is efficient?
8. Time to change the rubbish bag? So that the house is clean yet the plastic bags aren't wasted? We've got to be environmental-friendly!
9. etc etc etc

So, being an employee is better??? There are pros and cons. If we are financially ok, of cos I hope to be a SAHM so that I can be 100% involved with my kids difft growing stages. To be in the workforce could mean to stay in the current affairs, to get more advises from colleagues, to keep our brains functioning! It is also a getaway from home at times... When I get back to work, it is "Emails" time again. How I dread :( The never-end emails that would come in....
Hope this period will be over fast!

Chicken pox

Those in office may wonder where am I?
Missed me?
Haha...
I've been away from the office cos Rachel got chicken pox since last wk...
We only realised after we came back from Ubin...
Initially we thought it was the pox virus when we were still at Ubin, but after a while, we thought it shld be the bed bugs, until the doc confirmed tt it was the pox virus :(
99% she would have caught the virus in sch, cos there were a few reported cases 1-2 wks before Rachel got it.
Hubby has got it before, but for zyon & myself, we have not... I'm vaccinated but Zyon was not.
Keeping my fingers crossed. When Rachel recover, then will see if zyon gets it. Hopefully he doesnt, if not, I'm worried tt he is unable to catch up with his sch work and i got to use my leave OR hubby got to use HIS leave...
My risk of getting the virus mayb lower as I'm vaccinated... Who knows?

Pulau Ubin ...

During the sch holis we also wentPulau Ubin.

Booked the chalet there for 1 night. Was rather scared cos we didn't know what we can do there. Moreover, it rained and rained :(
