Swollen eyes...

Today many of us were busy at 1st floor, helping to serve the pple who are coming in at the last minute for filing *as usual*.
At abt 4.30pm, we were being called back to the branch so as to present the gift to our mgr. The IRIN reps from my branch who are around and some other colleagues in my branch went to "present" the flowers and gift for her. We took a few photos and frame it up. Wanted her to rem our face? Maybe...
(Today is the last day which our mgr will be with us. Next Monday onwards, she will be in another branch on another level.)
Earlier today, I was telling/asking Bel if I will cry? She say, I WILL... Yeah, i know I will. But I didn't expect it to be so terrible! When she saw us crowding around at her workstation, she started crying! OMG! She wanted to leave with a "low profile"! How can that be possible? One by one, we started crying.... it is not just abt tears flowing down.... we are crying and sobbing away! Here are some of the phrases which our mgr managed to say admist the crying:
"Thks for all the support you all have given to me, esp. the IRIN reps..."
"I never expect such support from all of you, you all never once say "No" to me, I never expect such great support and I don't deserve this..."
"We have been thru a lot"
"I know I pushed you all a lot...you all never did complain at all..."
"I can't say some words in front of your faces... wait for my email..."
"I love all of you"
As I'm typing the words above, my eyes teared again... *sigh*
After a few moments of slience, I went up to her to shake her hands and wished her all the best. She compliment me infront of the rest *shy* Mentioned abt PhoneFiling again, abt some outstanding issues which she has asked me to follow-up this morning. Director was there also and she says "Experienced har, means you got to do again har..."
Well... how many % of truth? whatever... oh yah... the new mgr in-charge was the "original mgr"... OMG... faintz... Ermmm...Btw, can I request for a specific team member? hahaha...
At the end of the "presentation" my eyes were swollen! I have to wash up and rest for a while before going back to serve taxpayers again...

New Phone ...

After Saturday's incident of my bag being stolen, hubby went out at night to buy a new lock with his friends. He reached home at abt 1am, I had already fallen asleep, but got to wake up to open the door for him. Then, he asked me to take a look at what he has bought... He bought a new Sony Ericsson W850i for me! OMG! It is the same model which I've owned. It was expensive as the phone was without any contract. He spent $500+ :( *heart pain for him*
The first thought that came to my mind was why did he spend money to buy the SAME phone?? He could have brought me to choose another phone??? I just casually asked why did he buy the same phone? He said that he didn't dare to just buy any phone. So, he bought the same model which I owned.
After that, I was feeling very very very guilty... Of cos, I didn't dare to tell him. Of cos, I'm touched by his actions, thks hubby :)
