Updates...

Have been looking back at my blog and realised that I have not been updating as regularly as before...
Usually it is just a summary and such....
Time flies and we are approaching the of end 2009.
Looking back, I've made several accomplishments and have in mind several mid-term plans.
The yr end results for the kids isn't so good. Esp for Zyon... Well, he failed his Chinese exams and grades dropped drastically for Science. His Maths improved, but can be better. There are many careless mistakes, as usual.
As for Rachel, she has made improvements in her English and maintained her Chinese results, her favourite and best subject. As for Maths, she maintained her results and similarly, she can do better.
Well, I can say that I have tried my best to guide both of them. I guess Zyon has the genes of his father and Rachel, with my genes... Hahaha...
Anyway, getting mentally prepared and facing the reality of the "standard" of your child is very impt. Of cos, they may excel as they grow. I have taken 1 yr + to face the reality as well not to compare with others and such. It is not easy but I have tried. Of cos, we have to continue to maximise their potential. It is very much abt 'trial n error''...
I find that taking care of babies are so much easier. Others may beg to differ? This is a stage where parents got to worry abt the children's results, as well as their behaviour and upbringing.

Stress ...

OMG! It has been 2 months since I last update my blog!
It has been very tiring and stressful for the past 2 months...
Have been "promoted" to become a team leader since Aug. Increase in job scope and to lead a team of 7 officers, but without pay increment :(
Well, take it as a career advancment. Though I had always wana be a 'tai-tai''.
Haiz... it is really not easy to be a team leader. There are too many channels where work can come. Got to decide who to give what, must be fair and must be timely.
Other than the "normal" work that team leader has to do, team leader has to assign work duties, do administrative stuff for the team, attend meetings, answer to the teams' challenging questions, help to team to clear work if they are unable to finish, etc etc...
Well, guess i need lots more time to adapt and to get into the momentum...

Dinner yesterday with bro and us ...

We had dinner with bro yesterday, ermmm... dunno where the restaurant is located, and forgot what it is called... Overall the food is ok, I like the bamboo clam most. Forgot to take a photo of ourselves though :>

Yesterday morning at ard 6.30am, when the sky is still dark, I was preparing breakfast and zyon was facing me and we were talking. Suddenly, he called and pointed to somewhere behind me...
zyon: mummy, look behind u!
mummy: what is that? can jus tell me what is that?! *i dare not turn, imagination running wild...*
zyon: It's rachel! She wake up so early meh?

Yesterday afternoon at work, rachel called me during recess:
Rachel: Mummy, die......
Me: what happened?
Rachel: i forgot to bring my recess money! Yesterday I had 50cents left... and now that I used 10cents to call you, I'm only left with 40cents!
Me: *faintz*....

I'm back from Bintan!!!

ENjoyed my trip very muchie! Although we spent quite a fair bit on food, we really enjoyed ourselves! As usual, the lazy-to-take-photo-me didnt bring camera, so all the photos are with celine n jo... gota wait for them to upload the photos @ facebook :P
