Piercing of ears!

Yesterday was 观音旦, it was decided 1-2 wks ago that we shall bring Rachel (aka vain pot) to pierce her ears. It was hubby who insisted that Rachel can only do it on 观音旦! Haha... this "uncle" hor....
I forgotten all abt it as I was busy with Zyon's exams... Until yesterday evening at my mil's house, my mil reminded me. These 1-2 wks we have been preparing her and actually she was the one who requested it! As some of you may have knew, this is the 2nd time she pierced her ears.
Duringthe process, someone dare not see and turned his/her face away. Who was that? ANyone can guess? hahaha...
It was hubby! Can't stand him! I didn't realised it till he confessed to me after that! Hahaha... He even say that we women, can bear to pierce the ears jus because we want ourselves to be pretty!
Did Rachel cry? No she didn't! She was bearing with the pain for a while and after that she was ok. The young shop attendants each took one side and they pierced together at the count of 3! This greatly reduced her fear.
Vainpot finally get what she wanted... Hopefully her new "holes" will be fine after 2 wks... cos the previous time when she did (Jul 2005), the holes closed after 2 weeks ...
